Il monte Arapiles (Australia) comprende più di 2000 vie tutte in stile “trad”. Si arrampica su quarzite molto lavorata. Tutte le vie sono stupende! Grazie alla conformazione della roccia molto “presosa”, pure le vie facili facili (per esempio dal 2a al 5b) sono verticali e adirittura aeree!

È un ottimo posto per cominciare ad arrampicare trad. Difatti Arapiles è considerata una “beginner friendly trad crag” perché è molto facile proteggersi con le protezioni veloci di regola molto buone.

Ma la buona ragione per venir a fare uno giro ad Arapiles, non è per arrrampicare ma per gustarsi il fantastico ambiente del campeggio “The Pines”! Provare per credere!
